Scheduling: how to add custom status

Post by quang.tran »

How can I add custom status for scheduling events in addition to booked, 1st hold, etc.
Admin panel shows no option (+).

From the Admin -> Schedule page, on the Status tab, you can add new schedule event statuses with the + button in the top right.

If you're not seeing the + button on this page, you may need to enable some additional permissions on the permission group that your user is assigned to.

On the Admin -> Security page, in the Permission Groups tab, select the permission group you are assigned to. Then, in the info panel that appears, go to the Admin tab, and scroll down to the "ADD SCHEDULE EVENT STATUS" permission. You'll want to make sure that is checked, along with VIEW / EDIT / DELETE permissions if you want full control over schedule event statuses.

You may need to change these permissions as a root user if your user doesn't have access to view/edit permission groups.

That solved the problem. Many thanks.
Seems like other questions here are linked to the permissions too, like studio scheduling.

No prob, glad that helped!

Some of the default permission groups may not have permissions you would expect, so it's a good idea to go through the groups you'll be using and make sure permissions are set how you want them.
