Deadline draft movie for NIM without SRGB transform

Post by pablo »

Hello.
After some back and forth I managed to my renders done in Houdini published into NIM, hurray!
But ... the movie created in Deadline, it is using the SimpleDraft plugin in Deadline, doesnt have the sRGB conversion applied, so all the movies I've published looks wrong.
Any idea how I can create movies with sRGB applied using the NIM integration in Deadline?

Thanks

P

Hi Pablo,

This is definitely a question tailored more for the Thinkbox forums, but I do know that you can add a LUT transform to the Draft template. I haven't looked recently if there are any API changes but here's an example of some older code applying an sRGB LUT to a Draft:

Code: Select all

displayLut = Draft.LUT.CreateSRGB()
displayLut.Apply( inFrame )
Additionally it looks like the Draft options do allow you to define a colorspace in and out based on the Deadline docs:

Thanks,
Andrew
