feature request: forecast

Postby quang.tran » November 13th, 2017, 5:38 pm

It's important for us to know, how many projects are in bidding and how much they're worth. Current studio actuals list the total of awarded projects. Is there a way to see the total of projects in bidding?
Otherwise that would be a very helpful option to have a kind of "submitted" checkbox for bids, which can be summed up for a "in bid" forecast in financials. Actually that would be manual process. We need to report management a financial forecast on monthly base.

Currently there is not an option to total the unawarded bids and view them across jobs. The additional "submitted" stage is a great suggestion and one we have actually been discussing when meeting with lead generators and sales teams. We are in the early stages on some solutions to provide visibility around the sales funnel and award potential that will help in forecasting.

That would be great. A probability per project would also be nice. Forecast should include simple IFTTT switches then
--> if probability is above 90% calculate the project in forecast with 100%
--> if probability is above 75% calculate the project in forecast with 50%
--> if probability is under 50% calculate the project in forecast with 25%
etc.

This is exactly the type of systems we're looking at. Glad to see we're heading in the right direction.

Cheers,
Andrew
